THE CONFERENCE IN 2010
Cardiovascular CT, Concord 2010 is the third conference in the successful CCT, Concord series. In 2010 delegates will find the program expanded and more relevant than ever before.
In 2010 Dr Lloyd Ridley and the Organising Committee is excited to introduce the inclusion of a ‘Demonstrated Case Studies Tutorial’ stream to the Conference. This new stream will complement the hands-on workshops and informative lectureship series well known from 2006 and 2008.
The Program will feature two days of plenary lectures from international and national experts covering a range of cardiac and vascular CT theory and new research. Also included will be panel sessions to facilitate discussion on radiation safety, coronary CT angiography and advanced non cardiac CT techniques.
The dynamic Conference program will offer delegates the right balance of theory and practical experience.
Who Should Attend?
This Conference will have broad appeal for all radiologists, radiographers, cardiac physicians, nurses, researchers and trainees, vendor personnel – whether in public or private practice.
Why CCT2010?
Dr Ridley believes the major challenge facing those in imaging is the need to continually upgrade skills in the use and application of technology. By incorporating a broad range of experts, including radiologists, cardiologists and surgeons, he hopes to provide attendees with the theoretical background required for performing and interpreting cardiovascular CT. Just as important is the co-operation of the vendors in providing extensive opportunity for hands on training. Practical experience in use of workstations is increasingly vital in enabling accurate and efficient reporting of CT. Skills learnt in manipulation of cardiovascular studies can also be applied to interpretation of other studies, and even other modalities.
